The perfect way to test installed cables. The dbx CT-3 utilises a unique 2-piece chassis. The SEND and RECEIVE halves of the unit are attached to a rugged metal baseplate, and can be split when desired for testing out cables that have been installed in walls and architecture. The unit is equipped with a wide variety of connections, enabling you to test everything from XLR and TRS, to RJ45 and BNC. The CT-3 also features a Test Tone Generator, which is essential for the testing of any audio system. The generator is strong enough to drive some devices directly without the need for additional power, and the device features a handy dial for adjusting the level of the Test Tone itself. You can also adjust the Test Speed using a handy dial on the SEND half of the unit. And with Banana continuity tester connections with a handy LED indicator and beeper on the receive side, testing single pins or other connectors is a breeze.
