The iRig Pre HD is a certified Apple MFi interface, meaning it is specifically designed to work wi iPhone and iPad devices. It is also compatible with Android tablet and smartphone devices, as well as Mac and PC computers. The ultra-compact design makes the interface highly portable, ideal for musicians on the move.

Capture inspiration when it hits by recording ideas, demos, melodies and even full songs on the road. It is also great for audio/visual work whilst in public, allowing you to use the integrates stereo preamp to deliver high-quality sound. It can be also useful for capturing found-sounds, interviews and even podcasting.

The integrated Class A preamp delivers rich and full-bodied sound, delivering the full dynamic range of your microphone. It even features built-in Phantom Power so you can use professional studio microphones with the interface.

The iRig Pre HD delivers crystal-clear, studio quality sound wherever you go. The integrated Class A preamp delivers a wide frequency response with high-definition audio. The interface provides audio resolutions ranging up to 24-bit/96kHz. This provides you with studio-grade audio making it ideal for recording professional-grade vocals on the move. The wide frequency response captures every nuance from your source audio, whether it be your chosen instrument or your voice.

Integrated Headphone Output with Direct Monitoring

You can also monitor your sound directly, using the integrated headphone output. Monitor your audio with ease and precision with the high-grade internal D/A converters. The headphone output also doubles up as an auxiliary output. This gives you the ability to connect the interface to an external device such as an amp, mixer or speaker system.

Direct monitoring allows you to hear sound as you record. This real-time monitoring functionality is perfect for recording vocals, allowing you to you to hear the sound that’ being recorded directly, for reference. It can be used to hear a backing track or more clearly, or provide a more focused sound for an interviewee.

Complete with Software and App Bundle

iRig Pre HD comes complete with a comprehensive software and app bundle. Mic Room is included for both Mac/PC and IOS devices. This versatile application emulates the sound of iconic microphones and lets your record using the same style. It is also compatible with other applications, so you can achieve classic microphone sounds with ease.

IOS users also receive versions of the Mic Pack for VocaLive, providing a range of high-quality virtual microphone models and real-time vocal effects for the Pro Bundle for iRig Recorder. This app is a multitrack recording application with a wide range of processing tools for getting ideas down and creating songs.
