AudioThing Things - Motor is a compact modulation plugin that uses an intuitive control set enabling you to blend and modulate two signals for effects such as light vibrato to heavy rhythmic destruction. As part of the 'Things' series from AudioThings, Motor brings you advanced modulation effects in a compact package that has usability as a priority so you'll be at one with the simple layout in no time at all. The sounds you create, however, will be anything but simple. Perfect for sound designers and those wanting to push sonic boundaries, you'll be able to create sounds you never thought possible.
Designed in collaboration with Hainbach, Motor is based on the Crystal Palace designed for the BBC and works its magic by taking two of your signals via side-chain, blending them and then modulating them in beautiful and expressive ways with effects such as vibrato and tremolo. A waveshape LFO controls the switching allowing for smooth balanced morphing or full-blown aggression resulting in chopped percussive sounds.
