BDM 800 Badboy
The Bogren Digital Ampknob BDM 800 Badboy is a plugin recreation of rock and roll's most synonymous guitar amplifier, the Marshall JCM 800. Based on Euge Valovirta's personal amp featuring upgraded 6550 power tubes and a Finnish-made 140-watt transformer, this version is rich in aggressive tone and loaded with character. Engineered and perfectly dialled in by Jens Bogren himself, the Ampknob BDM 800 Badboy offers perfect Rhythm and Lead tonal voicings to fit in any mix, with absolutely no tweaking needed. Switching to Lead mode, activates the built-in reverb and delay, giving you the depth and dimension you need for your solos to sit above a wall of heavy guitars, drums and bass in a mix. It's a go-to tone machine that nails the punch, presence, and edge you'd expect from a high-powered tube amp.
BDM ‘75
The Bogren Digital Ampknob BDM '75 is an exceptionally accurate plugin recreation of the coveted Marshall Plexi guitar amplifier. It's built for guitarists chasing the unmistakable sound of British rock and punk with none of the usual setup hassle. Just load it up and play, the tone is already dialled in. Designed by renowned producer Jens Bogren, this plugin captures the character of a battle-scarred studio amp that helped shape the sound of Swedish punk and metal.
The BDM '75 thrives on gritty distortion, raw crunch and unapologetic bite, making it perfect for aggressive styles and stripped-back tones. Its Jumped mode emulates the old-school technique of chaining channels for added gain, ideal for when you want a bit more grit.
BDM 410 JVH
The Bogren Digital Ampknob BDM 410 JVH is a streamlined plugin recreation of a flagship Marshall guitar amplifier, the JVM 410H. Designed for guitarists looking for a complete at-home recording and practice setup, this amp sim gives you instant access to clean tones, gritty crunch, and rich high-gain distortion all in one simple interface. Capturing all four channels of the real amp, it offers the full tonal spectrum of British guitar tones, whether you’re tracking chiming arpeggios or layering walls of riff-heavy sound.
This exact amp sound was used extensively by Jens Bogren during the production of Opeth’s Watershed, showcasing how flexible this amplifier is for a range of tones for all styles of guitar playing and musical genres. Offering a full suite of tools for guitarists at home, BDM 410 JVH includes an integrated pre-FX boost pedal for added sustain and clarity during leads.

Stay sharp with a built-in metronome and tuner

You can easily adjust the meter, accent, or even set automatic speed increments to match your practice sessions. This means you can focus on honing your skills without interrupting your playing flow. Additionally, Ampknob comes equipped with an excellent built-in tuner, ensuring that you're always in tune and ready to jam. No more fumbling with an external tuner or wasting precious time during your practice sessions.
The future of speaker modelling with IRDX technology
The Ampknob BDM Plugin Bundle utilizes IRDX (Impulse Response Dynamix) technology, which takes speaker modelling to the next level. Developed by producer Jens Bogren, this advanced technology adds dynamic and true-to-life speaker behaviour to static impulse responses. While impulse responses are excellent at capturing the tonality and resonance of a guitar cabinet, they lack dynamics. IRDX technology bridges this gap by simulating the natural reaction of real-life guitar speakers to the input from the amplifier. The result is an amp simulator that reacts like a real amp, seamlessly fits into any mix without sounding stale, and feels great to play through.
