Key Features
The AJH Minimod Glide & Noise, Silver is a eurorack module featuring both the glide and noise circuitry from the classic Moog Model D synthesizer. The Minimod Glide & Noise features 3 different glide modes, allowing you to choose between wanting the notes to only glide up, down, or both. The Glide and Noise module also features a random noise generator with white, pink, and red noise available. The noise can be used to create a range of FX including sweeps, downfilters, and more.

The module uses a discrete dual FET circuit which includes a hold function that can gate the slide effect. When the hold input is connected to the gate output of a MIDI-CV converter, the glide only activates whilst the key is pressed. The hold circuit means that the glide is activated when a key is pressed, and when released, the hold circuit then activates to hold the CV voltage at a constant level and disable the glide. This means that the oscillator pitch will only rise or fall while the key is pressed. If nothing is plugged into the gate jack, then the input is normalled and the glide will be permanently active.
The Minimod Glide & Noise features 3 different glide modes. You can select between gliding up only, gliding down only, or both. When in the glide up mode, the pitch will glide up to a higher note that is played, but will jump immediately to any notes that are played lower. In glide down mode it does the opposite. When you switch the mode to both, the notes will glide regardless of which note is played.
The Glide & Noise module features white noise, pink noise, and red noise. The noise source itself is fully analog and uses a special transistor in avalanche mode, which is amplified and then filtered by discrete transistor based circuitry. The white and pink noise can be used both as audio or random CV signal sources. The red noise is commonly used as a random CV voltage source and is mostly at sub audio frequencies.
The AJH Minimod Glide & Noise features a layout that makes the module ideal for live performance applications. Patch points are kept at the bottom, and knobs and switches are positioned at the top. This allows you to make adjustments without any cables getting in the way. The module comes in a sleek, silver finish and offers a simplified layout with a professional appearance.
