Confident Switching

The XS-82H is designed to allow smooth, confident switching between an array of signals. The video section features EDID emulation for a stable environment surrounding the HDMI. Even when the HDCP mode is active, this achieves a video switching time of under 0.2 seconds. The on board PGM/PST modes enable the smoothest switches between signals. The low latency and powerful processor means you can confidently switch inputs in a live situation.

Multiple Applications

A huge number of applications are available due to the XS Series’ 23 modes. The matrix mode routes any of the 8 inputs to either of the 2 outputs, which is suitable when switching between different screen inputs for projection purposes. For multiple screen displays at venues such as conferences, the span mode allows a single image input to be evenly distributed and scaled. The mutli-mode displays numerous image inputs on one screen, which can be utilised for everything from corporate events to weddings. All of the XS Series’ functions are completely adjustable and can be enhanced to fit you exact preferences.

Compatibility

The high quality inputs and outputs allow each user to get the best out of each signal. The 8 digital and 8 analog inputs support a 1080p, WUXGA resolution to process your signal with clarity and precision. The total audio inputs include HDMI/HD, component/RGB/composite/S-video. All the outputs support HDBaseT, an increasingly popular source that offers a more focused resolution.

Audio Mixer

Each input can be accessed by the 16 channel audio mixer. This function includes benefits such as a 4 band equaliser for each input, which is ideal for achieving the clearest and most clean sound. The noise gate and compressor enhance this further, making the AV mixer suitable for a whole range of gigging and music applications. For more formal events, the audio inputs can have delay adjustments for a tighter lip sync. The separate mixing channels for each input and a range of enhancing parameters make the XS switchers more diverse, professional units.

Dedicated iPad App

The XS-80 remote application turns you iPad into a control surface for the XS switchers. The app can be used to instantly access and edit the switcher’s settings. The app is easy to use, although the menu can be completely customised and altered to suit the individual’s preferences. The memory recall function is ideal for showing the same presentation, or having particular settings that are appropriate for a particular setting. The app connects to your switcher by a simple wireless LAN adaptor. This is an advantage for people who want to control the switcher from the view of the stage or audience.
