ART SP4X4 PRO - LED Metered Power Distribution System

The ART SP4X4 PRO is a rackmount power distribution system, ideal for protecting your studio and live equipment from power surges. Plugging your equipment straight into the mains is a risky game, especially when you're at an unfamiliar venue, that's why its important to have a power distributor to protect your gear from spikes and surges. Not only is a power distribution system for keeping your equipment safe, but it also prevents electrical and ground loop interference whilst preserving the quality of the audio signals passing through your hardware.

Within the SP4x4 PRO is a proprietary APF (advanced power filtering) module that filters out radio frequency and electromagnetic Interference produced from both standard electrical and digital appliances, that create disruptive noise known as hash. Utilising both common mode and differential mode topologies, the APF module removes all unwanted resonance on either side of the AC line as well as between the AC and the ground. Some add on modules designed for power filtering lose their effectiveness and saturate as the power load increases, this is not the case with the SP4x4 PRO as the APF retains its effectiveness over its full operating range.

Additionally, the ART SP4X4 PRO is fitted with two pull out light pipes with auto off and a dimmer that allow you to observe your equipment effectively in the dark, it even comes with a detachable rear mounted gooseneck light to illuminate the back of the power distribution where the main power outlets are. On the front of the SP4X4 PRO is a meter preview switch, a circuit breaker, an unswitched power outlet that gives you another connection option, and an easy-to-read LED input voltage meter that displays vital information clearly. The back of the console is fitted with eight power outlets with a maximum load of 1800 watts. This 19-inch rackmount power distributor is exceptionally good at what it does and would be an asset to your studio or live sound rack.
