Taking centre stage is the humbucker and split single coil pickups. This deadly duo gives the Active Precision Bass a growling cadence, letting you dive into any genre you please. Set it to the humbuckers for a rounded, powerful tone that's got enough weight to keep up with heavy metal. Whereas the split single coil evokes a tighter twang, excellent for lighter jazzy styles. There's a vast soundscape for you to explore.
That's not to mention the active electronics. Each note will be clear, articulated and punchy thanks to the Fender 9-V preamp. What's more is the precise control you have over your tone through various dials. Classic volume and tone knobs set the presence of your output, while a blend control selects between the two pickups and mixes their sound. The crowning feature which you'll enjoy is the bass and treble boost feature, giving you an extra shot of tone exactly when you need it.
