The Taylor GT611e LTD is a burst of pure acoustic beauty. Hand made by the masterful Taylor luthiers, it offers incredible depth and vibrant tones in a format that's easy to get your arm around. The GT series take the formidable Grand orchestra body size and scales it down to something that's more manageable, giving you a full-bodied voice that's not lacking in bass. That's thanks to Taylor's ingenious C-Class bracing which underpins the Sitka top, it gives you presence, volume and a stunning low-end response.


On the subject of volume, the supple Sitka spruce provides a clear and reaching projection. It allows the definition of your soft picking to be articulated, and your chords will glow with presence. Combined with a Taylor profiled neck that's a delight to hold, and the ebony fretboard, which is a blissfully soft surface, you'll take your acoustic playing to another level. And if that wasn't quite enough, the Expression System 2 preamp and pickup will take your sound to the stage and beyond. It's a fretboard of finesse. Used extensively by Taylor, they know how to get the best out of this luscious material. Riffs, chords and melody lines will flow with ease on a surface that's supremely soft to touch. It's so glassy smooth that positioning your fretting hand will feel instantaneous, granting you the freedom to fully express yourself. Contrasted with pearl inlays, it makes finding notes effortless and adds to the elegant appearance.

Sustainable ebony. It's a rich, sought-after wood. That may raise questions as to how it's sourced, but as Taylor are a responsible manufacturer, they have established an ebony project that harvests lumber in the most eco-friendly manner.
