The Schecter C-1 Koa is focused on exceptional playability. It features a neck specification geared towards fast and technically challenging playing, and the guitar's powerful USA pickups have great versatility with their coil-splitting capabilities. The C-1 Koa has a natural satin finish that not only looks fantastic - showing off the koa top - but provides a wonderfully tactile feel and increased body resonance. The extra-jumbo frets and 'ultra access' neck joint help to make the C-1 the ultimate shred guitar.

USA San Andreas Pickups

Dual humbucking pickups are usually the sign of a rock guitar, and the Schecter C-1's San Andreas humbuckers don't disappoint. They deliver powerful articulation and sustain, exploiting every last ounce of tone from the warm and resonant mahogany body. The humbuckers are wired to a 3-way toggle switch along with push/pull volume/tone controls to give you access to single coil sounds. This wiring gives you increased versatility and takes the C-1 beyond the usual tonal range of a typical dual humbucker guitar. If you're seeking a powerful rock and metal tone with the flexibility to be more subtle at times, the C-1 has that capability and more.

Fast Neck Specification

The C-1 Koa has a neck specification aimed squarely at high performance. The neck itself is very thin with a shallow "C" profile. It sits comfortably in the hand and is mounted to the body with a set-neck "Ultra Access" joint. When combined with the asymmetric double cutaway body, the C-1's neck will disappear under your fingers as you effortlessly glide along its whole length.

The fingerboard is crafted with a modern 14''radius; ideal for easy soloing and setting up the strings with a low action. The neck is mounted with 24 extra jumbo frets for increased grip on the strings, giving you a more direct feel for all of those extreme techniques that this guitar is built to play.

Resonant Tonewoods

The C-1 Koa has a mahogany body, known for its warm tonality and excellent resonance. The body is topped with koa in natural finish for a striking aesthetic on stage. The neck is a 3-piece design of mahogany for excellent stability. The body and neck are finished in satin for a tactile feel that won't become 'tacky'-feeling in hot and humid conditions. The satin finish is incredibly thin and lets the guitar 'breathe'; this provides increased resonance and makes the guitar feel more 'alive'.

Professional Features

The C-1 Koa has additional design touches for professional performance. The compensated Ernie Ball nut helps with accurate intonation along the length of the neck, while the locking tuners guarantee tuning stability.
