The VS6 is comes equipped with Wilkinson MWVC humbuckers, which are vintage-voiced in the style of classic PAF pickups. These pickups provide a strong humbucking tone, packed with definition, nuance, and dynamic range, courtesy of their medium-gain output. This style is perfect for blues and rock players who require all the nuances of their playing to translate through the amplifier. However, you don't have to be limited as the combination of pickups and tonewoods ensure that this model can stretch to a variety of other genres. The MWVC humbuckers also enhance the warm and resonant tone of the mahogany, giving you a full tone with great sustain.

Even with its accessible price, the guitar lives up to a high standard. Both its body and neck have been constructed with a quality mahogany body and neck, while the fingerboard is lignum rosa. This tonewood combination lends the VS6 a classic tonality with excellent warmth, resonance and sustain - perfect for genres such as blues and rock.

Unlike with the VS6's vintage looks and tone, the neck features a modern construction. Its 12'' fingerboard radius provides an excellent balance across the strings, along with the ability to set up a low string action with no risk of the strings "choking" when you play string bends. Its slim neck sits easily in your hand, while the low-profile neck joint and offset double cutaway assists with top-fret access for high range solos. This playability gives you the smooth feel of a more modern instrument with the looks and sounds of a classic guitar.

Its iconic double cutaway design is offset to provide easy access to the top frets, so you'll have no problem reaching the top notes during solos, while the smooth body contours give a comfortable playing feel whether stood up or sat down. Its Wilkinson Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece features a traditional fixed design that enables full string adjustability along with optimal transfer of string vibrations. The bridge has been complemented with Wilkinson WJ44 tuners, which provide a smooth action for quick and stable tuning. A graphite nut further assists with tuning by providing a friction-free platform for the strings to pass over when bending strings and tuning. Finally, the distressed nickel hardware colour complements the guitar's distressed look and gives you a retro-looking instrument to make your mark on stage.
